Through my child’s eyes | Day six

It was really hard for me to post today. Its not that I haven’t had Plenty of time to come up with some pictures of the kids and things they’re doing, its just, we’ve been stuck inside for like five days now, minus the dinner I ventured out to get yesterday… And I’ve been sitting at the computer alot of the day getting my website ready to launch the new portions so my eyes have just been tired! I almost didn’t shoot anything, but I remembered that its just one photo that I really feel like I must do, each day, I don’t have to shoot 20 or 30. So I decided to do two. Both of Avalyn, she started playing this little guitar that our aunt cheryl gave them, it was her son’s Seth. Avalyn and Logan both love it, and both really love music. I need to start them in some kind of music classes while they still love it. So she starts singing me the cutest song she always makes up songs! Here she is:

These images were taken at 12,800 ISO. The Canon 5D Mark II is an awesome camera and I do love it to pieces! I considered removing the noise but decided I like the feel of it. I have been really wanting to start photographing with film again and this made me feel like it was more “filmy”. 🙂 Anyway, she loves singing and playing music, piano, guitar, anything she can. So we’ll see where that road takes us.

I’m so excited, if only the roads can thaw a bit more and they stay open, Craig comes home tomrorow for a weekend respite. I know its been only two weeks but we so miss him, and I so need him! This week has been good but tiring! I only have two more weeks or so before school starts so I am a little bummed that he can’t be here the entire time to really be together for that time off. The crazy full time schedule will begin soon though.

I can’t wait to share what changes I’ve made on my website. I’ve tweaked a bit of the layout in the main weddings site, and my seniors have a BRAND NEW WEBSITE! Its mostly done, all I’m waiting on is finalizing a few last minute edits. Its going to be very similar to my wedding website. I finally decided I wanted to keep consistency across my different brands and follow one main brand theme. But I do like it 🙂 So that is coming hopefully by beginning next week!

I’m off to bed! Thanks for keeping up w/ me, if anyone’s out there 🙂

Katrina

PS… I do promise when my life returns to a normal level of chaos, and not so much like it is now with the kids home, I will be blogging the past wedding and events I’ve not posted yet…
