Chandra + Maurice | Engaged

I am so excited that Chandra and Maurice are getting married! Its actually only a week away! They don’t live near each other right now, they are both marines and are stationed apart. When they contacted me to be their wedding photographer I was so thrilled, even more thrilled to do their Engagement photography! So today they only had one day to get their engagements done, and its the week before the wedding! They are getting married in North Carolina, since that is where Chandra is from. We headed out to downtown Atlanta, Atlantic Station to do their portraits and it was supposed to be a rainy dreary day. God always ALWAYS comes thru for me, its been seriously EVERY time I’ve shot recently that it was supposed to rain and it didn’t. praise be to god! Anyway, so it was perfect, The clouds acted as a soft box to shield the harsh sun rays, i mean crap it was hot enough w/ the 100% humidity, we didn’t need the scalding hot sun to add to the mess. It ended up being a beautiful time.  I loved getting to know Maurice, and seeing their love blossom.  I truly can’t wait to photograph your wedding its going to be absolutely stunning!

Oh yah, and to add to the cool day, today is Memorial Day and so this day is very special for these two both, being marines, and also for myself since I am a veteran and my husband is also a marine. So, To get to spend it w/ you guys was a really nice time, also the beautiful flag hanging in the archway was absolutely perfect!

Here’s a little sneak preview for you two. You are so cute and perfect together!

I also had a fun treat having my friend Karen Shinkins come along w/ me. She was able to capture some videos of me photographing them. Can’t wait to share those! Really neat stuff!! 🙂

XOXO
